Patricia Stephenson

Stephenson, Patricia Margaret
Born in Saint John and a long-time resident of Westfield Patricia passed away quietly Thursday, November 19th, in Ottawa, where she had been living for the past year and a half. Her family was fortunate to have been able to spend her last few days with her.
Pat received her registered Nursing degree in 1957 from the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal and subsequently worked on the surgical floor. She married David Livingstone in 1958, and shortly after moved to Pointe Claire, PQ where she was an active member of Cedar Park United Church and its Choir, and volunteered tirelessly at local school libraries and figure skating clubs.
After David’s retirement they relocated to her hometown of Westfield in 1992, which allowed her to foster her love of golfing, theatre, choir singing, needlepoint, and bridge. She also enjoyed throughout the years tennis, skiing, crosswords, puzzles, gardening, bird watching, and swimming at the family beach on the Saint John River.
She is survived by her husband David; children Kerr (Donna), Meg (Alan Brown) and Ted (Johnna); four loving grandchildren Kelly, Sean, Bryn, and Liem; and brother Ted Stephenson (Diane). She was predeceased by sisters Janet, Marion, and Dorothy Ann.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the amazing staff at Colonel By Retirement Residence in Ottawa, who allowed her to live her last year in comfort. A Memorial Service will be held in Westfield, at a later date.
