The death occurred at Western Hospital, Alberton, on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 of Ernest James Edward Williams of Trout River Road aged 72, beloved husband of Barbara (nee Guitar). Ernie was born in Saint John, N.B., son of the late Ernest H. and Dorcas (Mahaney) Williams. Dear father to Gladys Mollins, Moncton; Barbara Ann (Harold) Frizzell, Charlottetown; Ernie (Robin), Dartmouth; Eddie, Saint John, N.B.; Cheryl, Ontario; Janet Frechette, Saint John, N.B.; Andrea (Jeff) Moore, Northam; and Michael (Shelley), Oromocto, N.B. Loving grampie to 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, son Billy, and daughters Barbara Jean and Dorothy Lynn. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, O'Leary on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 2:30 p.m. Interment in St Joseph's Cemetery, Saint John, N.B. In memory of Ernie, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
