Peacefully at the Dr. John Gillis Lodge on Thursday, June 16th, 2016, of John Robert "Robbie" MacNevin of DeSable in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (nee Darrach) MacNevin. Dear father of Beverly (Gordon) MacLean, Marleen Good, Donnie (Judy) MacNevin and Judy (John) Malone. Grandfather of Roberta and Jason (Wendy) MacNevin; Matthew (Catherine) and Jennifer (Craig Burgoyne) MacLean; Katie, Kim (Curtis Power) and Colin (Chrissie Terry) MacNevin; Daniel and Vanessa MacDonald; Whitney (Alex Lutes) and Katherine Good, and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law Hilda (Garfield) MacKinnon, Florence Campbell,and Curtis (Lea) Crozier. Sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his parents Hector and Georgie MacNevin, son and daughter-in-law Darrell and Pamela (nee Chandler) MacNevin and brothers-in-law and farming partners, Duncan and Neil Darrach and Lowell Campbell.
