Joyce Frank passed away peacefully on, September 9, 2015, at her home in Guelph, Ontario. Joyce was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, the late Ronald Frank and also by her parents, the late Stanley M and Jayne Payne-Mills. Survived by, Sara Tomlinson, Guelph ON, Wayne (Alice) Mills, Caledonia ON and predeceased by siblings, Ruth, David, Phylis, Sidney, Shirley and Heather. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours and special aunt to Mercedes Ready-Campbell. Lovingly remembered by friends Linda, Liz and Steve.
Joyce was born in Donkin, Cape Breton Island and grew up on South St. in Glace Bay. Even though she moved to Guelph ON her heart was forever connected to the Maritimes. Over her lifetime, she had the ability of meeting folk and was always interested in knowing where they were from and if they were a Maritimer, she was an instant friend.
Joyce was very involved in St. Georges's Anglican Church in Guelph and worked tirelessly volunteering her skills in planning, preparing and just "getting the job done".
