Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at the age of 81. Left with fond and loving memories are his loving wife Irene, of 55 years; sons: Steven (Sharon), and Michael (Cynthia); daughter Lynn Tucker (Don); 5 grandchildren: Adam Dwyer, Christopher & David Tucker, and Kathleen & Jonathan Dwyer; 2 great-grandchildren: Grace & Ronan Dwyer; mother Edith Dwyer; brothers: John (Clare), and Dennis; sisters: Louise Clancey (Doug), Phyllis Schwerdtfeger, Diane Walsh (Jim), and Linda Trelegan; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of 4SE of Pleasant View Towers for all their care and support over the past year. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Monday, August 22nd, from 7:00pm-9:00pm; and on Tuesday, August 23rd, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm, and from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Cremation to follow. Memorial service to be held at Barrett's Chapel on Wednesday, August 24th, at 3:00pm. Interment to follow at Memorial Garden Cemetery.
