BARCLAY, Douglas Carvell - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our father. Doug, age 59, passed away suddenly on December 28, 2016 at home in Bible Hill. Born in Tatamagouche to Roy and Mildred Barclay, Douglas loved sports of all kinds from the moment he could walk. He was also the proud owner of his own business. While he lived in many places, Debert was his home. Doug is survived by his children Michael and Savannah Barclay; mother, Mildred (Rushton), and siblings, Doreen (Gary) Black, Larry (Valerie), Donna Hoyt, Sharon (Dwight) Nichols, Harold (Debbie), Bruce, Kevin (Lori) and Rhonda. As well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Roy; brother, Ronnie; sister Linda Morrisey, and two nephews. Douglas was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
