Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Monday, January 9, 2017, Margaret McGrath, age 98 years, of Trinity, Trinity Bay. Predeceased by her parents William and Jane (nee Fowlow); sisters Catherine and Agatha; brothers Jack, Owen, Edward, Patrick, William, Joseph, Aidan and Edmund. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her nieces Anne (Kyran Dwyer), St. John's, Brenda Jurach, Cathy (Harry Wiater), Mary (Jeff Walas), Sharon (Steve Shumway) and Lorrie McGrath (Gregory Little), Massachusetts; nephews William McGrath, Vancouver and Brian McGrath, Florida; sisters-in-law Bernadette McGrath, St. John's and Maureen McGrath, Massachusetts. Special thanks to the staff of Hillcrest Estates for their kindness and caring over the last six years; and to the staff of 3 West at St. Patrick's Mercy Home for their compassionate care in the last three months. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2 p.m. from St. Teresa's Church, Mundy Pond Road.
