Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Saturday, March 18, 2017 after a three month battle with cancer, Kevin Joseph Beresford of C.B.S. (formerly of Buchan's), aged 72 years. Predeceased by his parents Danny and Ellen (Dwyer) Beresford; brothers Brian, Steve and Dan; parents-in-law James and Bertille Kelly; sister-in-law Ellen Maddox; brothers-in-law Gerard Kelly and Kevin Mahoney and niece Sherri Mahoney Hoskins. Leaving to mourn loving wife Anne (Kelly) Beresford; daughter Maria Kelly-Beresford; best buddy Casey the dog; sister Peggy Moore (Joe); brothers Tom (Mary) and Ed (June); sisters-in-law Veronica Mahoney, Mary Batterton (John), Dorothy Ryan (Kevin), Hilda Barron (Gerald), Sue Bishop (Walter), Geraldine Ryan (Aiden), Laura Kelly, Maureen Kelly and Marg Fleming; brothers-in-law Jim Kelly (Rosalind), Sam Kelly (Ruby), Pat Kelly (Brenda), Fred Kelly and Tom Maddox; as well as large circle of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends. Huge thank you to special and loyal friends Ed and Tonda Philpott and family for all their help and support as well as the nurses and volunteers of the Palliative Care Unit at the L.A. Miller Centre. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home in Kelligrews, Sunday, March 19th and Monday, March 20th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial from St. Edward's Church in Kelligrews on Tuesday, March 21st at 11 am. Interment in St. Edward's Cemetery, Kelligrews.
