Passed peacefully away at her residence following a long but courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, April 6, 2017, in the presence of her loving sons David and Keith, sister Carol Gillis and niece Kathy Gillis-LeMessurier, Beverley Martin "Bev", age 66 years. Predeceased by husband Neil Anthony Martin (March 18, 2017), and her parents Earl and Shirley Tilley (nee Kendrick). Leaving to mourn sons: David Martin and Keith Martin (Nichole); sister Carol Gillis (Ray); brother Derek Tilley; nieces: Kathy, Karen and Colleen; nephews: Derek Tilley (Gillian) and Stephen Tilley (Maria); her cherished pet dog Cabot; as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins and dearest friends - too many to name. Special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the HSC and Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre, and a sincere thank you to all of our friends and family who've offered help and support during both Bev and Neil's illnesses. At Bev's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place from Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 3-9 pm - all will be asked to move into Barrett's Chapel at 7 pm for a memorial celebration, in which we ask if you'd like to share a story of Bev, please do! Visitation will continue back in the room following. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Bev's memory may be made to the Dr. H.
