Dolores Edna, Carpenter 76, Truro, passed away Jan. 8, 2007 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of Edna MacDonald (Billard), Truro and the late Clarence "Claude" MacDonald. Dolores worked for the Bank of Montreal for 22 years. She is survived by her husband, James "Stanley" MacDonald; daughters, Belinda (Frank) Rabusic, Wisconsin; Dale (Ed) Beals, Cherry Brook; Susan (Scott) Hiscock, Ontario; grandchildren, Tammy-Lynn Lilly, Texas, Robert Croxen, Dartmouth, Darrell (Dori) Eamer, Alberta; great-grandson, Christopher Lilly. She was predeceased by daughter Catherine in infancy; brother, Richard "Rick" MacDonald. No visitation or flowers by request. A family graveside committal service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley with Rev. Brian DeLong officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro.
