Elaine Ann Neil, 42, of Truro passed away on April 16, 2008 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Elaine was a daughter of the late W. Seward and Peggy (Horsburgh) Neil. A very kind and thoughtful person, she worked as a live-in caregiver for the elderly. She was associated with the Royal Canadian Legion in Noel. Elaine is survived by a brother, Kevin (Nancy), Maitland; a sister, Fern (Ken), Halifax County; nephews Ian and Perry Smith; as well as various aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Ian. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Interment will be held in the Noel Shore Cemetery.
