NEW GLASGOW – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of June Anne Vienneau, 67, of Albert Street, New Glasgow, on Tuesday, November 13th, 2007, at the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Sterling and Jean (Stewart) MacKeen. June was a resident of New Glasgow for the past five years having previously resided in Halifax. She is survived by her husband, Victor Vienneau; brothers: Jack MacKeen, Toronto; Vernon (Margie) MacKeen, Sackville; Mel MacKeen, Halifax; Donnie (Laurie) MacKeen, Aspen; sister, Audrey (MacKay) Hodgson, MacPherson’s Mills; aunt, Eileen Stewart, Toronto; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Douglas Mitchell. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or memorial service by request. Donations in memory of June may be made to the Palliative Care Society. June’s family will always remember her for her kindness, deep love and affection shown to her family. Arrangements are entrusted to the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
