Peacefully at the Summerset Manor Summerside on Friday Jan. 27, 2012 of C. Blair Heeschen of 357 High St., Summerside and formerly of Kensington aged 87 years. Born in Charlottetown on April 29, 1924, son of the late C.C. and Lulu Mae (MacNevin) Heeschen. Husband of M. Joan (Gaudet) Heeschen. Father of Diana (Gordon) Paynter; Vicki Heeschen; Chris Heeschen (Sarah Doucette); Blaine (Valerie) Heeschen and Holly Ramsay. Grandfather of Alexander, Sadie, Rebecca, Tessa, Thomas, Anthony and Mitchell. Brother of Joyce Champion. Predeceased by his brother Eric Heeschen. No visitation by personal request. A private graveside service will be held later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund or the Alzheimer Society.
