Passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, February 22, 2010. Born on November 14, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Rebecca Thomas. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Epton for 55 years. Lillian lived on the west side all of her life and was an avid bingo player. She was very family oriented and will be sadly missed by her sons, David (Sue Beaudin) and Doug (Tina Durelle); sister-in-laws, Mary Thomas, Marion Thomas and Lydia Keith; brother-in-law, Richard Epton (Heather), of Ottawa; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer & Robert (Lyndsay), and their mother, Susan Epton; 2 great grandchildren, Jacob & Rebekah and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Grenville Thomas, Herbert Thomas, Vincent Thomas (Thelma), Jack Keith and infant brother, Clair.
Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from St. George’s Anglican Church. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment at St. George’s Church Hall. Donations, in memory of Lillian, may be made to the Diabetes Association, Lung Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the St. George’s Anglican Church.
