HOLLAND, MARGARET (CASHIN) The death of Margaret Holland occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, December 18, 2001. Born in Sandy Point, NF to the late Arthur and Susan (Squires) Cashin. Margaret was a member of the CWL at Saints John and Paul, Roman Catholic Church for many years. She also dedicated 25 years assisting handicapped children in Saint John, NB, Fredericton, NB and in Clearwater, Florida. Surviving are Margaret's husband, Henry Holland; sons, Philip (Mary Ann) of Saint John, NB, Peter (Geri) of St. George, NB, Robert of Williams Lake, BC and Paul (Dawn) of Victoria, BC; daughters, Dr. Sharon Holland (Dr. Rolf Scheffler) of Belleville, ON and Susan (Fabian) Harmon of St. Andrews, NB; brother-inlaw, Father Charles Holland SJ of St. John's, NF; grandchildren, Michael, Kimberly, Margaret, Catherine, Rowan, Kathleen; great granddaughter, Krysten and several cousins in Newfoundland. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, on Thursday, December 20, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint's John and Paul, Roman Catholic Church, New Maryland on Friday, December 21, 2001 at 10 a.m. with Father Ralph McCrae and Father Charles Holland SJ officiating. A reception will be held in the church hall following the service. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Saint John, NB.
