O'DONNELL, FLOYD The death of Floyd O'Donnell of Carroll's Crossing, NB occurred on Thursday,July 18 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Carroll's Crossing, he was the son of the late Keyes and Hazel (Amos) O' Donnell. Prior to his retirement Mr. O'Donnell worked at Russell and Swim Sawmill in Doaktown, for approximately 35 years. He loved flower gardening and going for nice long walks. Floyd is survived by two brothers; Richard K. O'Donnell, of Doaktown, and Amos O'Donnell (Marjorie), of Brandon Manitoba; three sisters Mrs. Gratton O 'Donnell (Flora) of Carroll's Crossing, Mrs. Marven Stewart (Theoda), of McNamee, and Mrs. Murray Wellwood (Lois), of Carroll's Crossing; a special nephew Hughie Wellwood (Melanie, Melissa, and Amanda) and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, on Saturday from 7-9 pm, and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be at Saint John's Anglican Church in Carroll's Crossing on Monday at 2:00 PM. Rev. David Titus will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Jerry Stewart, Paul Wellwood, Allison Doak, Calbern Price, Buddie Wellwood, and Leslie Amos. Honourary Pallbearers for the service will be Raymond O'Donnell, Lloyd Russell, Baden O'Donnell, and Boyd O'Donnell. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or to any charity of the donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family.
