NEW GLASGOW - Harry Cameron MacPherson, 88, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of MacPherson's Mills, passed away May 15, 2007, in the Manor. Born in MacPherson's Mills, he was a son of the late William F. and Catherine Ann (Cameron) MacPherson. Before moving to Glen Haven Manor he was a resident of MacPherson's Mills all his life. He was a retired coal miner having worked in the McBean Mine, Thorburn, for a number of years. Harry was an adherent of Union Presbyterian Church, Thorburn. He is survived by a son, Kevin; sister-in-law, Marianne (John) Stewart, Laggan. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Barrett. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Lackie officiating. Burial will be in MacPherson's Mills Cemetery. Donations in memory of Harry may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Fund or MacPherson's Mills Cemetery.
