ROWAN, LEO HERBERT The death of Leo Rowan of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, July 17th, 2004. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Smith) Rowan, and the husband of Marion (Crowley) Rowan. Survived by his wife, Marion; one son, L.Charles (Marilyn) of Fredericton and one daughter, Patricia Brewer (Perley) of Fredericton; one brother, Maurice Rowan of Darthmouth, NS, one sister, Josephine Robinson (Lew) of Vancouver, BC; four grandchildren, James Rowan (Dez) of Vancouver, BC, David Rowan (Laura) of Pictou, NS, Kimberly Brewer of Fredericton and Andrew Brewer of Fredericton, NB, and one great- granddaughter, Rachel Rowan of Pictou, NS. Predeceased by his parents, and sister, Isabelle McCormick of Calgary, AB. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 20th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 will hold a tribute service at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 21st, 2004 at 12:00 noon. Monsignor Brian Sheehan as celebrant. Interment will be in the Hermitage Cemetery at a later date.
