FOX, MEDLEY ALFRED The death of Medley Alfred Fox of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, April 30th, 2005. Born in Southampton, NB he was the son of the late Alfred and Beulah (Dore) Fox and the husband of Kay (Calhoun) Fox. Medley was employed by Imperial Oil for 27 years, 24 of which he was self employed as an Imperial Oil Agent. He then worked for the Department of Transportation in Right of Way Branch for 19 years. Upon retirement he worked alongside son Mark at Convenience Video Ltd. and Southwood 7-11. He was a member and Elder of St. Paul's United Church. Medley will be remembered for his strong passion for family, friends, work, and a genuine love of the outdoors. Survived by his wife, Kay, three sons, Mark (Liedy) of Fredericton, Gregory (Diane) of Fredericton and Blake (Joanne) of Bedford, NS; nine grandchildren, Jena, Jared, Jill, Marie, Brittany, Jordan, Makenzie, Wesley, and Samuel Fox; his sisters, Enid Strong, Edith Walker, Kathleen McGuire, Audrey McGuire (Donald), Joyce Hues and Joan Hicks; one brother, Merlin Fox (Eunice); brother- in - law, Bryon Gordon and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, one sister, Muriel. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 3rd, from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's United Church on Wednesday, May 4th, 2005 at 11:00 am. Rev. Paul Ross will officiate and assisted by Rev. Dr. David Fisher.
