LEWIS WARD LOVE

LOVE, LEWIS WARD Lewis W. Love of Nackawic passed away July 21, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Dumfries in 1927, he was a son of the late Harry and Jessie (Lockhart) Love. Lewis was a mechanic and was employed for several years with Valley Forest Products in Nackawic. He was a member of the Nackawic Lions Club and an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Lr. Southampton Branch. He is survived by his wife, Marie; two daughters, Cheryl Wright, Nackawic and Diane O'Grady (John), Fort MacMurray, AB; a son, Donald Love (Marlene), Miramichi; eight grand children, Marie, John and Sarah Wright, Amanda Stewart, Michael and Katelynn O'Grady, Kristy and Laura Love; two great grandchildren, Abigail and Logan Wright; four step-daughters, Linda Richard (Claude), Moncton, Barbara Anderson (Barry), Saint John, Brenda LaPointe (Ray), Hunter River, PEI and Jane Diduch (Chris), Fredericton; three step-sons, Harold McGuire, Nackawic, Lloyd McGuire (Joan), Woodstock and Gerald McGuire (Denise), Rossville; two sisters, Della Crain (Perley), Fredericton and Edna Corey (David), Rossville; three brothers, George Love, British Columbia, Vernon Love (Alleen), Nackawic and Edwin Love (Zula), British Columbia; an aunt, Lillian Gullison, Woodstock; several nieces; nephews and cousins. Lewis was predeceased by his first wife, Eileen L. (Leslie) Love, a grandson, Matthew Love and a sister, Mary Montgomery. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Lions Club Tribute service will be held on Saturday at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Sunday, July 24, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer officiating. Interment will be in St. Clement's Cemetery.
