HOVEY, DORIS MARION The death of Doris Marion (Momma) Hovey, of Fredericton, loving wife of Lancelot Hovey, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday, September 16, 2005. Born in Fredericton, NB on March 12, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Constance (Hovey) Burlock. Doris was a housewife where she cared for and raised her five children. Doris will be missed by her loving husband; her three sons; Lance Hovey (Sally), Wilson Hovey (Lisa), and Roger Hovey (Wendy) all of Fredericton; two daughters; Sylvia Blain (Mel Cormier) and Connie Gilmore (Paul) both of Fredericton; 11 grandchildren; Nathalie, Monique, Garth, Kirk, Kelsey, Kirsten, Julie, Jake, Turner, Marshall and Austin; two great-grandchildren; Jon and Joseph and sister, Anne Lutz (Fred) of Dartmouth, NS. She was predeceased by her brother Eugene Burlock and infant daughter Melissa Ruth. Visitation will be at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with The Venerable Walter Williams CD officiating.
