GLADYS M. ARMSTRONG

ARMSTRONG, GLADYS M. Gladys M. Armstrong, wife of the late John F. Armstrong, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on November 3, 2005. Born on March 7, 1915 in McAdam, NB, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Maude (Purdue) Neale. Gladys is survived by her five children, Lawrence (Doris) Armstrong of Fredericton, Carolyn (Glenn) Scott of Fredericton, Jacquelyn Ingalls of Pennfield, Robert Armstrong of McAdam and Randall Armstrong of Fredericton; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Neale of Calgary and one sister, Audrey (Ken) Seaman of Toronto. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by one sister, Winnifred Dow of Toronto. Gladys loved bridge, curling and most of all her family. She will be sadly missed by us all. The family will receive visitors at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday evening, November 6 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church on Monday, November 7, 2005 at 1 pm with Canon William MacMullin officiating. A reception will follow at the church hall. Interment will take place at 4:30 pm in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to be made to St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church Building Fund in memory of Gladys Armstrong, to the Dr. Everett Chalmer's Hospital Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
