Henry Jacob Ludwar On Wednesday, May 7, 2008, the Lord called Henry from Extendicare in Moose Jaw into His warm embrace at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Gertrude; brothers: John and Frank Ludwar and sisters: Eva Foster, Annie Ludwar, Freda Tysdal and Lena Ludwar, Henry is survived by his nine nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a self taught carpenter whose quality workmanship can still be seen in many of the homes he was involved with building in Moose Jaw. As a young man, Henry enjoyed sports, playing hockey and baseball. As well as being an accomplished and skilled carpenter, Henry also mastered playing the guitar and accordion. He enjoyed socializing, visiting, and was always ready to give a helping hand. Along with his sister, Lena, they spent many years caring for their brother and sister, John and Annie. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 11a.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, Moose Jaw. Father Francis Folleh C.S.Sp will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. For those so wishing, memorials may be directed to a charity of choice. The family wishes to thank the Homecare Staff and Nurses for their compassionate care of Henry. In living memory of Henry, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
