KENNY, VIOLA MONA The death of Viola Mona Kenny, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on February 7th, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Maurice Kenny and Lucy Jane Daigle. Born in Belledune, NB on July 16, 1918. The family later moved to Marysville where she attended school and worked for Canadian Cottons Ltd., until its closure. Later she worked for the Wandlyn Inn for a number of years. She is survived by one sister, Veronica Campbell of Marysville; and five nephews, Charles Kenny, Robert Kenny, William Allen, and Jamie Campbell, all of Fredericton, and Robert Smith of Smokey Lake, AB. Viola was predeceased by five sisters; three brothers and four step-brothers. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 from 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 9 at 11 am from Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Marysville with Rev. Maurice Swift officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Interment will take place in the Hermitage Cemetery, at a later date.
