GRANT, KATHLEEN F. The passing of Kathleen F. (Jones) (Stephenson) Grant, wife of the late, Charles E. Grant, formerly of Keswick Ridge, NB, occurred on May 1, 2006 at York Manor Nursing Home, Fredericton, NB. Born on December 27, 1921 in Burtt's Corner, NB, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Corinne (Staples) Jones. Kathleen was a hairdresser for over 20 years. She was a member of the Keswick United Baptist Church where she played the organ and was a member of the choir. She is survived by one daughter, Nora Jewett of Burtt's Corner; two step-daughters, Mary Dentinger (Richard) of Ottawa, ON, Anne Miller (Robert) of Minto; two sons, Ralph Stephenson (Gail) of Keswick Ridge, George Stephenson (Micheline) of Sudbury, ON; one step-son, Bob Grant (Beverly) of NS; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas Stephenson; step-daughter, Jane Grant; one sister, Lillian Dunphy; two brothers, Dr. Arnold Jones and John Jones; and her uncle, Everett Staples. Although there will be no visitation by request of the family, a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 4th , 2006 at 2pm from Keswick United Baptist Church, Mouth of Keswick NB with Pastor Jonathan McKay officiating and Rev. Amos Adeniyi assisting. Interment will take place at Douglas Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, NB. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Alzheimer's Society to the Keswick United Baptist Church or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
