McGIVNEY, JOHN C. John C. McGivney, husband of the late Anna Pauline McGivney, passed away on January 6, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. John is survived by four sons, Barry Croll (Betty) of Toronto, ON, John McGivney Jr. of Kitchner, ON, Ricky McGivney of Nashwaak Village, NB and Brian McGivney (Trish) of Keswick, ON; three daughters, Janet Ann Mason of Calgary, AB, Cheryl Croll of Toronto, ON and Julie Stocker (Scott) of Oshawa, ON; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, Ronald, Mike, Pat and Brown. A Memorial Service will be held on May 20, 2006 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Majors Leo and Marie Vincent officiating. A reception will follow the service, at the home of Jack McGivney, 436 Route 8, Nashwaak Village, NB. Donations made to the Osteoporosis Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
