GALLAGHER, JOYCE PAULINE The death of Joyce Pauline Gallagher of Fredericton, wife of the late Ralph E. Gallagher occurred on Monday, July 17, 2006 at the York Manor Nursing Home, Fredericton. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Julia (Wilkins) Steen. Joyce was affiliated with the Nashwaaksis Baptist Church and she enjoyed knitting and flower gardening. She is survived by four daughters, Valerie Grattan (Ricky) of Fredericton, Kim Young (Richard) of Fredericton Junction, Myrna Lavigne (Dale) of McLeod Hill and Brenda Hossack of Fredericton; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Jack Wilkins (Sara) of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Joyce was predeceased by one daughter, Dixie Lee Gallagher. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday evening at 6 pm from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB with Rev. Kevin Culberson officiating. Interment will following in the Douglas Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
