BARTON, GLENDA ANITA CLARE (NEE. MACKINNEY) Glenda A. Barton, of Fredericton, passed away, on January 8, 2007, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 26, 1937 in Fosterville, NB, she was the daughter of Patricia (Howe) MacKinney and the late Robert E. MacKinney. Glenda was employed by Fundy Cable for 10 years and Calps for 6 years. She devoted her time to her family; especially her granddaughter. Survived by her husband, Phillip J. Barton; her mother, Patricia MacKinney; two sons, Derrek (Beth) and Phillip (Valerie); a granddaughter, Karley and two brothers, Herschel McKinney (Mary) and Warner MacKinney (Genevieve). In addition to her father, Glenda was predeceased by one brother, Robert F.H. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 1 pm with Canon T. A. Smith officiating.
