TITUS, DOUGLAS RALPH The passing of Doug R. Titus of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday February 4, 2007 at the age of 72. Born in Fredericton, he was the son of Faye (Newman) MacDonald and the late Arthur Titus. Baptist by faith, Doug was a welder for L&A Machine Works until his retirement. Surrounded by his loving family he is survived by his wife Frances; two daughters Debbie Boudreau (Bob) of Mazerolle Settlement, Judith Schaap (John) of Airdrie,Alta.; two sons Robert Jewett (Cindy) and Wayne Jewett (Lynn) all of Fredericton; 9 grandchildren Derek Boudreau, Andrew Jewett, Jenna, Ashley and Katerina Schaap, Alexandrea and Maggie Jewett, Melinda Brown and Jennifer Brown; 1 great grandchild Kade Robert Schaap; sister Winnifred Parker of Fredericton; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Ruth (Higgins) Titus, four brothers Darrell, Donnie, Artie, and Allison. Resting at Bishops Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Rd. with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from Bishops Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 2pm with Rev. Lawrence Meade officiating. Interment will be held in the Sunny Bank Cemetery in the spring.
