BARTON, GERTRUDE ANN Passed away peacefully Feb. 15th, 2007 at the DECH in her 70th year, Gertrude Ann Barton. Left to mourn are her children; Susan Scott (David) of Fredericton, NB, Nancy Barton of Ottawa, ON and Jill Ross (Don) of Okotoks, AB. Also survived by sister Hilda Saunders, Ottawa, ON and brother Fred Saunders (Shirley), St. John's, NL. Sadly and forever missed by grandchildren Kristofor Crawford, Kingston, ON, Jessica Crawford (Chris Rathwell), Ottawa, ON, Ashlee Scott (Tim Barnes), Fredericton, NB, Sara Scott, Ottawa, ON, Megan and Ben Wattie of Okotoks, AB and the extended family. Predeceased by parents William and Victoria Saunders and sister Carol Brown. Special thanks to friends Katie, Anne, Jane and Fred for their support during this difficult time as well as to the medical staff at the DECH. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street on Saturday, Feb. 17th, 2007 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery in the spring. Rev. Paul Ross officiating.
