BILLINGS, GEORGE WILLIAM George W. Billings of Central Hainesville, NB passed away March 23, 2007 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in 1937 at Central Hainesville, he was a son of the late Willard and Bertha (Carten) Billings. George was an active associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Millville Branch # 59 and he enjoyed playing shuffleboard. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne E. (Hanson) Billings; three daughters, Susan Lewis (Milster), Hainesville, Diane Billlings, Kingston, ON and Christine King (Stephen), Lincoln; eight grandchildren, Corey, Tonya, Sonya, Kelly, Brad, Chad, Tywallia and Sarah; four great grandchildren, Brandi and Brooke Lewis, Tyson and Ethan Arbeau; a sister, Beatrice Marr, Hainesville; a sister-in-law, Estella Billings, Hainesville; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son, Stephen George; a brother, Kenneth Billings; a son-in-law, Wayne Brown and a brother-in-law , Albert Marr. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held from the funeral home chapel on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer and Pastor Ron Mercer officiating. Interment will be later at Central Hainesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen King, Milster Lewis, Brad Lewis and Chad Lewis.
