
DONALD O. CALHOUN
CALHOUN, DONALD O. The passing of Donald Oswald Calhoun of Fredericton, NB, occurred on April 9, 2007 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in McGivney Junction, NB, he was a son of the late George and Isabel (MacLellan) Calhoun. A carpenter by trade, he was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Fredericton. Donald was Past Master of Alexandria Lodge #33 F&A.M. 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Luxor Shriners in Saint John and was Past President of the Fredericton Shrine Club. A veteran of WWII, Donald served overseas with the R.C.A.F. He is survived by his wife Agnes B. (Duncan) Calhoun; two sons, Kevin and wife Marilyn, David and wife Cathy both of Fredericton; two daughters, Susan Bradford and husband Kevin, Beth Flynn and husband Kevin both of Fredericton; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Lulu Calhoun of Norway, Maine. Predeceased by his parents; brothers Byron, Hazen, Harold and Gilbert; sisters Mena Calhoun, Helen Calhoun and Isabel Zander. The family will receive friends at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, on Wednesday April 11, 2007 from 6-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on Thursday April 12, 2007 at 11:00 am with Rev. Doug Blaikie officiating. Interment in the Rural Extension Cemetery.For those who wish memorials may be made in Don's memory to the Luxor Transportation or Canadian Cancer Society.
