BARTON, WINNIFRED MAE The death of Winnifred Mae Barton, of Minto, NB, occurred Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Lower Jemseg, NB February 26, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Edna Mae (Vail) Smith. Survived by her loving husband, Pastor Keith Barton; sons, Brett (Barbie) of Newcastle Centre, NB and Randy (Lynn) of Norton, NB; daughters, Tina Keizer (Randy) of Centerville, NB, Debbie Barton of Whites Cove, NB, Sarah Tompkins of Mount Pleasant, NB, Wanda Cleghorn (Corey) of Oak Bay, NB; brothers, Bruce Chase (Pauline) of Lower Cambridge, NB and Archibald (Jr) Smith (Doreen) of Lower Jemseg, NB; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Winnifred was predeceased by an infant daughter, Colleen Mary Barton in 1961; a brother, Arthur Chase. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Monday, June 18, 2007 from the Salmon Creek United Baptist Church.
