THORNE, ROXANNE "ROXIE" LAURA Roxanne "Roxie" Laura Thorne has gone to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Born on October 31, 1969 in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of Murray and Alice (Wilcox) Thorne. Roxanne recently attended Serenity Free Will Baptist Church. She was a member of the First Wesleyan Church, Duncan Lane, Fredericton, NB. Roxanne enjoyed hosting the radio show "All Things Southern" at CJRI Radio. She was a Recording Artist of Southern Gospel Music. Roxanne spent 11 years in Tennessee working in the Southern Gospel Industry and Video Production. In addition to her parents, Roxanne is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special cousin, Krista Thorne-Clark, "Her Rock", her boys (Dogs), Cuddles and Sandy. She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Earle and Ethel Wilcox; paternal grandparents, William and Laura Thorne and her special cat, "Sadie". Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Wesleyan Church on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 2 pm with Rev. Karl Ingersoll officiating. Interment will take place in the Seymour Memorial Cemetery, Kingsley, NB.
