STEWART (HUNTER), LORNA ELIZABETH Went to heaven to be with her precious daughter, Angela Louise Storey, on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Lorna was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Born on November 13, 1946 in Astle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Gladys (Green) Hunter. Lorna will be forever loved and missed in the hearts of everyone that knew her. Lorna is survived by her dear daughter, Sarah Stewart; dear granddaughter, Melissa Storey; step-daughter, Michelle Leslie; and special friend, Wayne Leslie; five sisters, Valerie Jewett (Minard) of Fredericton, NB, Ethel Woodcock (Billy) of Astle, NB, Marilyn Wyton (Bill) of Taymouth, NB, Cora Taylor (Robert) of McAdam, NB, Lottie Price of Fredericton, NB; three brothers, Leonard Hunter (Lottie) of Guelph, ON, Arnold Hunter (Elsie) of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, Allen Hunter (Francis) of Astle, NB; and a very good friend, Elaine Leslie. Lorna is predeceased by her parents, Horace and Gladys (Green) Hunter; daughter, Angela Storey; sister, Harriet Perley; nieces, Marsha MacLaggan and Janet Price; nephew, Randy Scott. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 7-9pm. A memorial service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, on Wesnesday, September 5, 2007 at 2pm with Rev. Harold Jenkins officiating. Internment will take place at the Astle Community Cemetery at a later date.
