BILLARD, MICHAEL JOHN OWEN Tragically in Fort McMurray, Alberta on September 10th, 2007, Michael John Owen Billard, born December 22, 1987 died in a fatal accident. Michael was a graduate of Leo Hayes High School and was a past member of the Fredericton Society of St. Andrew junior and senior pipe band. He loved drumming, snowboarding and skateboarding with friends. Michael left his family and friends much too early. Survived by his mother Patricia McKay and father Trevor McKay, (Michael was predeceased by his biological father Edwin Billard); sister Jennifer Craig and her partner Amy Betts of Saint John; Jamie Craig of Fredericton; Grandparents Owen and Mary Craig of Saint John; nieces Jessica Craig and Kelly Bechdel of New York; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Many many friends will also sadly miss Michael. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton with visitation on Saturday September 15, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:30 pm from St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Charlotte Street with Rev. Doug Blaikie officiating. A reception to be held immediately following in the church hall.
