ACKERSON, EVELYN GERTRUDE Wife of the late Ernest Ackerson of Ripples, she was the loving mother of sixteen Children; Floyd (Joan) Ackerson, Freda (Ivan) Young, Cheryl (Warren) Smith, Garnet (Doreen) Ackerson, Ernie (Wanda) Ackerson all of Ripples, Marie (Edward) Pelkey, Eleanor (Milton) Munn, Betty (Reginald) Munn, Weldon (Anna) Ackerson, Carole (Gary) McAllister, Wayne Ackerson all of Fredericton, Viola (Charlie) McLean of Chipman, Lorna (Eldon) MacBeth of Boiestown, Daryl (Gayle) Ackerson of Campbellton, Roger (Rhonda) Ackerson of Bangor, ME and Judy Ackerson of New Zion. She is also survived by 42 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; sisters, Carol, Paulette, Nancy, Leona, Jackie and Fern; special caregivers Tammy Blair, Theresa Brown, Mary Nichols, Shirley Gullison. Predeceased by her parents, Justice and Kathleen McKay; brothers Ernest, Leonard and Clifford; sisters Roberta, Laura, Doris, Mildred and Murial. Resting at the Ripples Pentecostal Church in Ripples, NB with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 3:00pm Friday, October 5, 2007 with Pastor S. Tompkins and Pastor Russell Morehouse officiating. Interment will take place at the Ripples Community Cemetery.
