STEWART, ISABEL VIOLET (O'DONNELL) Isabel Violet (O'Donnell) Stewart of Central New Brunswick Nursing Home, Boiestown, NB, wife of the late Willard R. Stewart, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 7, 2008. Born on December 15, 1918 in McNamee, NB she was the daughter of the late Kate and Sandy O'Donnell. Isabel was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Isabel was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, Carroll's Crossing, NB. She was actively involved with the ACW, LOBA Unity #656, Ladies Auxillary-Branch #78 Royal Canadian Legion, Boiestown, NB. Isabel enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Isabel is survived by her son, Gerald (Eva) Stewart of Carroll's Crossing; daughters, Sharon (Donald) Clark and Heather (John) Johnston; daughter-in-law, Joan (Warren) Dunn all of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Stephen (Leanne), Kenric (Melissa), Katherine (Luke), Melissa (Derek) and Jeremy; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Muriel Lyons and Doris Stewart; brother-in-law, Dow Lyons; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Isabel was predeceased by her son, Charles; granddaughter, Tina Buckingham; sisters, Emma Miner, Margaret Lyons, Gladys Lyons and Olive O'Donnell; brothers, Vincent and Harry O'Donnell. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Monday, February 11, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 11 am with Father Andrew Fraser officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Brian and Willard O'Donnell, Ernest Miner, Brent Storey, Kenric Stewart and Melissa Sullivan. Interment will take place in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery at a later date.
