BARTON, ESTHER (MAY) The death of Esther (May) Barton of Minto, NB occurred peacefully on Tuesday, April 8th, 2008 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Colin and Ruby (Little) Thompson. Survived by a son, Neil Walsh (Christine) of Douglas Harbour; a daughter, Carlotta Walsh (Scott) of Dartmouth, NS; stepdaughter, Joanne Daken; a brother, Roland Thompson of Cumberland Bay, NB; sisters, Phyllis Davis (Lionel) of Noonan, NB and Fay LeBlanc of Minto, NB; four grandchildren, Amanda and DJ, Samantha and Andrew; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, May was predeceased by her first husband, Edward Walsh; and second husband Bob Barton. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, April 11th, 2008 from the Christian Community Church, Minto with Pastor Kris Austin officiating.
