ELIZABETH ROWE

ROWE, ELIZABETH The death of Elizabeth Rowe of Minto, occurred on July 6th, 2008 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB Born in Dunston on Tyne, England in 1918, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Ann (Eltringham) Gaddess. She will be remember as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, a supportive family member, a competent and compassionate nurse, caring friend and neighbour, and a woman of faith. She was active in her church as a member of the choir, a life member of the ACW and a layreader. She was also an over 50 year member of the Eastern Star and served as worthy Matron. After retiring from nursing, Elizabeth became a very active volunteer in many community organizations including a founding member of the Minto Service to Seniors, Meals on Wheels and the Minto Seniors Association. Survived by sons, George Rowe (Doris), Bob Rowe (Linda); daughters, Ann Rowe, Doreen Burns (Kevin), Janet Merrill (Jim); six grandchildren; several great grandsons; many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visiting on Monday evening from 7-9pm and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 9th, 2008 from St. Michael and All Angel's Anglican Church with Rev. John Sharpe and Rev. John Cathcart officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. For those who wish donations made to St. Michael and Al Angel's Anglican Church or Cemetery would be appreciated by the family. www.mintofh.com
