HORNE, PHILIP ANDREW It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Philip Andrew Horne on February 13th, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Halifax on March 8th, 1946 he was the son of Valerie M. (Crouse) Horne and the late Herbert Horne. Mr. Horne lived in Saint John, as well as in Oromocto and Dipper Harbour over the years. In addition to his mother Valerie, he is survived by a brother Paul (Joan) Horne of Prelate, Sask., and two sisters; Glenda (Andrew) Hardie of Fredericton, and Jane Livingstone (Don Glaspy) of Upper Queensbury, and several nieces and nephews. Philip was predeceased by his companion Kay Hilliard and his father Herbert. By request there will be no visiting. A celebration of Philip's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the John Howard Society or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family.
