McKIM, THOMAS RENFREW GILCHRIST Passed away at home in Fredericton on March 4, 2009. Tom is survived by his wife Joan McCready, sons Dr. James McKim (Dr. Susan Dempsey) Keswick Ridge, NB, Robert McKim (Dr. Claude Gimmi) Basel, Switzerland, John McKim, Ottawa,ON and grandchildren Tessa, Luke and Emily McKim, Keswick Ridge, NB, and will be fondly remembered by his step family including John Bagnall (Maureen Michaud), Anne Hill (Barry), Richard Bagnall, Pamela Holmes (Brian) and grandchildren Charlotte and Alexandra Hill. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Cabeldu. Tom was born in Saint John, NB, and lived most of his life along the beautiful St. John River where he raised his family. Tom was a sweet gentle man who enjoyed all sports - notably skiing, hockey, fishing, golf, and sailing. Tom lived the qualities that he respected most: love of family, a good honest effort at work and play, and an open attitude offered to all who opened their hand to his. He will be missed. His kind and loving spirit lives on in all of us who loved him. There will be no visitation by request. A celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army, Jobs Unlimited, Fredericton or other local charities.
