BREWER, LEONARD RANKIN It is with great sadness that we want to announce the passing of Leonard Rankin Brewer age 40 of Lincoln, NB on May 8th, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Leonard is survived by his wife, Marina of almost 20 years this June his two children, Damian age 19 and Courtney age 18, Leonard is also survived by his parents, Hazel and Garnet Sloan; three sisters, Patsy Pye, Tom and Kim Thompson, Shaughn, Heather Walton, and Ronnie; one brother, Rob Sloan and Kayla as well as nieces and nephews; Matthew, Mya, Ryan, Brittney, Josh, Jesse, Kastin, Marcus, Jesse and Lacey. Lenny was predeceased by his paternal father, Leonard Brewer. To many Lenny may have looked small on the outside, but looks can be deceiving, he had the biggest heart, unfailing courage and the most will power anyone could ever have known. He loved his family more then life. His friends would never be lonely or have to go without a helping hand. Lenny was a hard worker and sometimes did not know how to quit, nor did he want to. He loved the outdoors, old cars, hunting and of course NASCAR, Jeff Gordon has lost his biggest fan. Lenny worked many jobs over the years but spent the last 18 years as a 24 hr Roadside Tire Repair Service Truck operator. He loved his job and did it well. Lenny will be greatly missed and always remembered. A very special thank you to Lenny's best buddy Scott, who never left his side from the accident until the end, he has been the rock that keeps our family grounded. Thank you. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Monday and Tuesday May 11 and May 12, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 13th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Rev, George Clarke will officiate. Interment will be in the Scotch Settlement Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. www.mcadamsfh.com
