MARTIN, LIVAIN JOSEPH The passing of Livain Joseph Martin of Millcove Nursing Home, husband of Madeline (Dillon) Martin occurred on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Baie Ste. Anne, he was a son of the late Hyacinthe and Florida (Robichaud) Martin. Livain worked as a bricklayer and roofer for various companies in the Fredericton area. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his early years. He is survived by his two children William McSorley of Mount Hope and Vanessa (Jerry) Veno of Keswick ; three grandchildren Hayley Marie, Brianna and Jonah; five sisters; Marina (Donald) Lanteigne, Jeanne (Michael) Gouchie and Jyacinthe (Peter) Collwell all of Miramichi; Celestine (Dennis) Allain of Moncton; and Marie Ella (Roy) Woodman of Riverview; two brothers Emerild (Barb) of Riverview, and Norbert of Moncton; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation and service was held at Maher's Funeral Home in Miramichi; followed by cremation. Ashes will be interred with his parents at St. Anne Roman Catholic Cemetery in Baie Ste. Anne.
