MCALLISTER, CLARA M. Following a lifetime of service to God and her family, Clara M. McAllister passed away at the DECH in Fredericton, NB on Aug 15, 2009. Born in North Minto, NB, Clara was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ellen (Ferris) Barton. Clara is survived by her loving family; two sons, Darrel (Marilyn) McAllister of Chipman, Gary (Lorna) McAllister of Minto; two daughters, Karen (Robert) Roi of Minto, Bonnie (Sidney) Knox of Saint John; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers, Harold (Cheryl-lynn) Barton of Fredericton, Harry (Lynn) Barton and Carey (Linda) Barton both of Minto; a sister Cecila LeBlanc of Moncton, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Clara was predeceased by her husband Arnold McAllister; two infant children, Sharon and Larry; a daughter Darlene McAllister; two brothers, Fred and Clarence Junior Barton; a sister Lillian Barton; an infant brother Cecil. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from the Christian Community Church with Pastor Kris Austin officiating. Interment will take place in the Church Cemetery.
