CLOWATER, ALVIN SINCLAIR The passing of Alvin Sinclair Clowater of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Phebe (Matthews) Clowater occurred on Thursday, August 27th, 2009 at his home. Born on March 15th, 1924 in McNamee, NB, Alvin was a veteran of WWII. He retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force as an Engineer. Alvin was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Normandy Branch #78, Boiestown, NB. Alvin is survived by his daughter, Judith (Arthur) Boudreau of London, ON; sisters, Vesta Gilks, Merna Hickey and Genevra Pond; brothers, Ralph, Ivan and Gene Clowater. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his sister, Alice Babin and brothers, Vimy and Adrian Clowater. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
