DUNCAN, BRENT KEVIN At his home in Raleigh, North Carolina on Sunday, September 6th, 2009, Brent Kevin Duncan, passed away at the age of 47. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of the late George Duncan and Ethel (Anderson) Duncan. Brent graduated from UNB with a degree in Electrical Engineering, and also attended McGill and Concordia Universities. He was employed with ABB in Raleigh as an Electrical Engineer. Brent was a former member of St. Peter's Anglican Church. Brent enjoyed canoeing, playing guitar and outings with his children. He is survived by his daughter, Emily Rose Duncan of Montreal; son, Samuel James Duncan of Raleigh, NC; their mother, Carol; two brothers, Gary Duncan (Kathy) of Fredericton and Brian Duncan (Julie) of Fredericton; his mother, Ethel; sister-in-law, Peggy of St. Albert; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, George, in September 10, 2004; a brother Steve A. Duncan, in September 2005; his grandparents; three aunts; three uncles. The family will receive friends and family at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Church of St. Peter on Monday, September 14th, 2009 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Ross Hebb officiating. Interment will be held in the Acton Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Terri Duncan, Heather Johnson, Shawn Duncan, Jason Duncan, Tim Haswell and Hans Kristensen.
