SPEAR, ISABEL F. 1912-2002 - Isabel (Somers) Spear, widow of Stewart Spear, and beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, April 8, 2002. Born in Gunningsville in 1912, she was the daughter of the late Moses and Isabella (McWhirter) Somers. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church. She will be sadly missed by her loving family; two daughters, Joan MacCallum (Ross) of Riverview and Dale Finley (Carl) of Fredericton, a sister-in-law Audrey Spear, as well as five granddaughters, Cindy, Patti, Kerry (Jeff), Sharon (Lloyd), Janice (Robert), several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stewart, a daughter Elma, sisters Mabel and Myrtle, three step brothers and two step sisters. By request there will be no visiting hours. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 11th at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530), 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton. Following the service the family will receive visitors in the family reception room of the funeral home. Interment will be in the Lower Coverdale Cemetery.
