Zepheron Chaisson

1924-2008 Zepheron D. Chaisson passed away suddenly at the home of his son, Stanley, Central Caribou, on May 22, 2008. Born Aug. 6, 1924, he was the son of the late David and Catherine Ann (Burton) Chaisson, Sugar Loaf, Victoria County, Cape Breton. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dingwall. He was a double veteran, serving in both the Second World War and the Korean War. He is survived by sons, Stanley (Diane), Stewart (Rosalie), David (Faith), Johnny (Lisa), Richard (Melody); daughters, Margaret (Greg), Linda (Danny), Eileen (Sandy); 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Leo (Vonnie) and Charlie (Mavis). He was predeceased by his wife, Theresam daughter, Jackiem one brother and two sisters. Visitation will be in St. Joseph Church, Dingwall, Monday, May 26, 2008, after 12 noon. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m., Rev. Will MacPherson officiating. Burial, under the direction of Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, will be in the parish cemetery.
