MARGARET ADELAIDE LOCKE
LOCKE, MARGARET ADELAIDE - 80 of 100 Cedar St., Grand Manan, N.B. passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital, on Thursday morning July 4th, 2002. Born at North Head, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Jennie (Beal) Bass of North Head, N.B. Mrs. Locke was a member of the Immanuel Pentecostal Assembly, a Sunday School Teacher for 40 years, and actively involved in all areas of the church ministry as well as a Bible teacher. Before her retirement she was the manager of Dalzell Drug Store and clerked in retail for many years. Predeceased by her husband Edison R. Locke, August 12th, 2001. Mrs. Locke is survived by two daughters, Joan (Roger) Morse, Linda (James) Elliot, Grand Manan, one son Larry T. (Dawn) Locke, Grand Manan, four sisters Alma Naves, Alice Cook (Percy), Hazel Titus, Frances Fleet, three brothers William (Ruth) Bass, Lester (Helen) Bass, Sheldon (Mary) Bass, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, and three brothers George, Charlie and Harold Bass. Visitation will be held at the Immanuel Pentecostal Assembly, 749 Route 776, Grand Manan, on Saturday, July 6th, 2-4, 7-9pm from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 7th, 2002 at 1:30pm with Pastor Dennis Sisco officiating assisted by Pastor George Clark, interment to follow in the family lot Maple Grove Cemetery, Castalia, N.B. Mrs. Locke has requested that donations in her memory may be made to the Building Fund of the Immanuel Pentecostal Assembly.
